[NEWS] CHRISTINA AGUILERA ANSWERS QUESTIONS ABOUT 'THE VOICE' AT THE TELEVISION CRITICS ASSOCIATION

New strategies, since Blake's won three times?
Christina: I understand that I'm coming back to the Blake Shelton Show ... We laugh all day. It's always fun to press our buttons, see the person, get 'em on our team ... We want them to win, but we can all agree it's the contestants that do win at the end of the day. Blake keeps it funny with his trophies.
How has teaching affected you as artists?
Christina: I went in holding hands with these guys and didn't know what to expect. Mark Burnett reached out to all of us and I don't think a show like this was even on our radar. We all as artists know what it's like to be up there, the make it or break it hotseat... I caught an episode of last season and I thought 'I can see why people like this!' We get very caught up, sitting in the chair, but seeing it from the outside and hearing some of the stories, it's nice to see the part of the show that's stayed true to the talent and made sure that their stories are heard ... It's just an amazing school. I had great training on "Mickey Mouse Club." I think it's affected me more on a personal level than on a professional level ... I've been able to remember the journey of where I started out.
How did it feel to have someone else sitting in your chair?
Christina: I was happy that someone filled the spot for a second, I had to step away ... Thank god for Shakira, she did a beautiful job, she has sweet, lovely energy. And Usher came and stepped up with a lot of creative stuff.
Controversial comments the coaches have made
Christina: The show's not scripted, we're real people. We're artists.
Why they have yet to launch a huge star
Christina: It doesn't happen that way -- it didn't happen that way for me either. Right after the "Mickey Mouse Club" we didn't rocket to fame straight after.
The appeal of the show
What Christina did in her time offChristina: What's great about the show ... it is like a family, I don't want to be cliche, but I was looking forward to having a laugh with these guys... The four of us, it's so much fun, to have a laugh with these guys, we just have a good time. And to get to meet fresh talent, it's a new experience... For now it's a good fit for me.
Christina: I cannot live in front of the camera 24 hours a day. I have to take breaks and stay connected with myself, I think that's important so that you can be your best on camera. I'm a mom, when the cameras go off I put on sweats and a t-shirt and I'm mom. He starts kindergarten in the fall so I'm excited about that ... I wanted, for myself, have a moment ... I've been on a really incredible journey the past six months, I feel revived and renewed.

Christina Aguilera calls on the acting skills she so expertly honed making critically acclaimed (by me) blockbuster Burlesque in Alejandro Fernandez‘s melodramatic “Hoy Tengo Ganas De Ti” video. The emotion-charged visual plays like a glamorous telenovela, which is not surprising given that the towering ballad serves as the theme song of Mexican soap opera La Tempestad. Curtains billow, staircases are climbed and chests heave. Alejandro is a dark and brooding protagonist but, let’s face it, all eyes are on Xtina.
And she delivers blonde bombshell realness in spades. Whether sizzling in a black bra and skirt combination or reclining — Mariah Carey style — on a chaise lounge, the top-heavy diva is absolutely riveting. Christina’s stunning curves steal the show and she clearly relishes her role as a steamy seductress. “Hoy Tengo Ganas De Ti” is turning out to be a smart move for the Lotus legend. It jumped straight to number one on Mexican iTunes and was certified platinum in just 17 days. Perhaps it’s time to follow up 2000′s brilliant Mi Reflejo with another Spanish album?

On Thursday evening Christina Aguilera and several pals left Club Eleven in West Hollywood at 2am, and the 32-year-old pop star fell on the sidewalk on the way to her car. While taking a tumble is pretty embarrassing, Christina still managed to look hot, and walking in killer heels is no easy feet, so we'll cut her some slack.
While Xtina was out celebrating last night, we're wondering if she saw the recent results of IHeartRadio's survey ranking her version of "The Star-Spangled Banner" the worst of all time. As you may recall, Aguilera botched the lyrics at the 2011 Super Bowl, and nearly 37% of those polled said hers was the worst they'd ever heard. Given that she's worth an estimated $100 million, we're sure she's not that worried about it.
She is looking amazing guys! Wow. Look at how many fucks Xtina gives about botching the National Anthem... none. This is the fiercest slip I have ever seen. Isn't her little scream cute?

[NEWS] CHRISTINA AGUILERA SPORTS SOPHISTICATED MAKEOVER FOR 'THE VOICE' RETURN
In new publicity photos for the show, the "Dirrty" singer looks like she could be heading to her downtown office, wearing a hip-hugging black and white skirt and a black blouse that's a bit less revealing than her usual over-the-top fashions. She's looking fit and trim in her sexy office attire, and her blond locks are straightened and cut in a sophisticated chin-length bob.
In a 2012 interview with Lucky magazine, Christina said she liked for her clothes to accentuate her figure. "Actually, the challenge I've had is being too thin, so I love that now I have a booty, and obviously I love showing my cleavage," she said. "Hey, if you can work it and you can own it, that confidence is going to shine through."
Original coach Cee Lo Green is also back in the saddle, joining Blake Shelton and Adam Levine for the new season, which kicks off September 23 on NBC. Christina said taking time off of the show actually helps make her a better judge.
"In order to remain great coaches and to stay relevant, we have to go out and we have to still tour, see our fans one-on-one," she told E! "I have to feel creatively fulfilled in order for me to then do my job as a coach and be on that show."
It'll be great to see the gang back together again, looking better than ever!

[NEWS] CHRISTINA AGUILERA RETURNS TO 'THE VOICE', REFRESHED AND REJUVENATED
Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with Xtina and the rest of the coaches at the NBC summer press junket where the “Beautiful” singer was looking more trim than ever. And when she was asked about her drastic weight loss, she had a surprising secret to share.
“I know you're going to think this is total B.S. when I tell you this, but my mission in taking the time off was getting back to things that are outside of inspiring me on camera,” she said. “It was about getting back to my roots and my being a mom, spending time at home. My son lights up my life, and it's hard to go to work and be separated from him and work long hours, and that's something that these guys don't really know yet, and there's a different thing when you're a mom. It's just a little more emotional and it's hard, and I needed to be with my son for a minute.”The typically private star even alluded to her painful divorce from Jordan Bratman, the father of her son, Max. She started The Voice less than a year after filing for divorce, ending an eight-year marriage.

“I kind of came off of 2010,” she said. “It was a little bit of a hard time in — you know, we go through rocky moments in our lives, and especially being under a microscope and I've always been a risk‑taker and whatnot.”The diva admits that part of her reason for leaving the show was to rejuvenate a temporarily dull career.
“I just — I was a little bit bored, actually, and I needed to have a moment to re-inspire myself and reconnect,” she said. “I know it's in there because my gut is to sing from my friggin’ heart and soul. And that's what I got in this for. I wanted to gain a different perspective and find happiness with all this stuff again, and I did. I did.”
Xtina thinks that her time away will allow her to be a better coach and mentor to her contestants in Season 5.
“I'm spreading the love,” Christina continued. “I think the boys feel it. I came back. I'm like, ‘I just want to laugh with you guys and have fun.'"Are you excited for Christina’s return to The Voice stage? Tell us below!

Christina Aguilera is back! And so is Cee Lo Green!
Fans of The Voice are already getting a first look at the upcoming fifth season of the hit show.
Green and Aguilera – looking super slim with a sophisticated bob and long, lean legs to boot – are reuniting with triple winner Blake Shelton and Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine for the new season, which debuts Sept. 23 (8 p.m. ET) on NBC.
Host Carson Daly is also back for season 5 – just in time for blind auditions, which began this week in Los Angeles.

We’re on the set of “Burlesque" this week with the photo booth. The cast and crew coming thoroughly are lovin’ it. Tomorrow Christina Aguilera and Cher (February 8, 2010)! Being on a smoke/fogged in sound stage was a little much for the lungs, but the photo booth was a hit! James Brolin came through, in addition to all of the dancers. Christina and all the cast and crew had a ball in the photo booth (Wish I could post some pics but, in the words of Dana Carvey, “Wouldn’t be prudent, not at this juncture!)! Oh, and there was food/catering all day and then at 10pm.. a fresh sushi truck came (February 12, 2010)! Another great day on the set of “Burlesque" @Sony Pictures, with the photo booth! Back again tomorrow too (February 18, 2010)!
