Christina Aguilera certainly felt the love this weekend when she was treated to a surprise party to celebrate her 32nd birthday, attended by her nearest and dearest including celeb pals Nicole Richie and Blake Shelton.
The 'Your Body' singer turned 32 on December 18, but it was a bittersweet occasion for Christina, whose last appearance as a judge on The Voice coincided with the special day.
According to Us Weekly, Christina's doting boyfriend Matt Rutler made sure to take the birthday girl's mind off her departure from the show, throwing her a surprise party.
When Christina arrived home, she was met by 20 of her closest friends and family members, including her five-year-old son Max, and celeb friends Nicole Richie and Blake Shelton.
"There were tons of balloons throughout the house.
Christina was completely surprised. She was very happy," Christina told the magazine.
"Everyone was very friendly and got along well. They had a great time."
Earlier this week, it was revealed that Christina will be honoured at the 2013 People's Choice Awards, where she will be recognised for her achievements in the music industry.
The prize will also celebrate Christina's ability to reach millions of fans around the globe and across genres.
The 'Candyman' singer is also nominated for Favourite Celebrity Judge' for her role on The Voice USA and will be performing at the ceremony in LA on January 9.

[NEWS] CHRISTINA AGUILERA TALKS SCENTS, BODY IMAGE, AND THE HOLIDAYS
It's been a busy year for Christina Aguilera. She returned as one of the judges and mentors on NBC's The Voice (but won't be back for season four, as announced this week during the live finale), dropped her latest album Lotus, and released her fourth fragrance Red Sin. The sensual and seductive new scent, which hit shelves just in time for the holiday season, allows the Grammy winner to pay homage to her favorite color red, and evokes all the allures of temptation through the use of red apple and fiery cinnamon notes.
"The message of the fragrance is to empower and feel irresistible, which is what every woman deserves," Aguilera told ELLE.com. "There's no effort to it—that's what I love about fragrance. Literally with one spritz, you can change your mood or the moods of people around you. I'm all about people using their imagination and creating fantasies for themselves—and in turn, creating fantasies for their partners."
We sat down with the vocal diva to discuss her scent palette, her guiltiest pleasure, and how she celebrated her 32nd birthday, which just passed on December 18.
ELLE: What can you tell us about shooting the campaign for Red Sin?
Christina Aguilera: That was actually shot in my bed. I'm wearing a man's button-up, which can be really cozy to sleep in. It's a very casual, sexy, and intimate approach to what we are reflecting in the scent. The feel of that outfit is of a woman wanting to get wrapped up. She doesn't need to have that sexy black dress. She doesn't need to have these high heels on and hair to the nines. The essence of the scent is that you definitely don't need to try too hard to be sexy and seductive. It all lies within yourself and your own skin.
ELLE: How has your fragrance palette evolved?
CA: My mom used to wear the fragrance Poison when I was younger, and I remember that scent and the purple bottle. That was my first [perfume] memory. Then, we all went through that teen phase of wearing that really soft fragrance. As I got older, I started loving men's fragrances and cologne. I was so attracted to men's cologne; I would spray it all over me. So, in my line of fragrances now, there's that musky, sexy, and smooth undertone.
ELLE: How did you become confident in your own skin?
CA: It's a process. A lot of people are afraid to face themselves, especially when something goes wrong. But that's important, because if something happens within a relationship, it could be how you're allowing someone else to treat you. So it's important to look at yourself honestly, starting from the ground up, and ask, "Why did this happen?" "How do I take responsibility?" And "[Where to] go from here?" If [being confident stems from] a self-esteem issue, it's important to embrace the things you might define as so-called imperfections—because something that you might call an imperfection, someone else might find so amazing and so beautiful. It's all in how you embrace yourself, your faults, and your mistakes in life. There's no better way to learn and become a better person than to go through those moments.
ELLE: Can you name a flaw or mistake that you've embraced?
CA: I look back at the looks I've had over the years. I'm proud of myself that I had the courage to experiment with crazy hairstyles and some fashion things. Would I do it again? No. But that's part of the learning process and getting from point A to point B.
ELLE: You just celebrated you birthday! Do you like that it's so close to the other holidays?
CA: I do. It's actually the ultimate celebration. I get like a triple whammy. First, it's my birthday. Then, we have Christmas and New Year's to top it all off. I kind of see it as this end of the year explosion. Right now, in my house, I have eight different Christmas trees. One for each room. Everything is lit up and sparkly. I'm a little kid at heart, so my eyes light up when everything is lit. [As for what I actually did on my birthday,] we wrapped up The Voice. So, I had to work on my birthday.

[NEWS] CHRISTINA AGUILERA CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY ON 'THE VOICE', GIVES BLAKE SHELTON STUFFED ANIMAL
Christina Aguilera is a giver, not a taker.
The Voice mentor, who turned 32 Tuesday Dec. 18, opted to gift fellow mentor Blake Shelton with an unusual present during the singing competition’s season finale - even though it was her own big day to shine.
During one of the commercial breaks, the "Your Body" singer hopped out of her chair to present the country singer with a gift box that turned out to be what looked like a stuffed chipmunk in a domed glass case.
The two judges chatted excitedly and posed with the gift before Aguilera toted the case over to both Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green's chairs to see, explaining the present to each of her fellow judges.
After dropping the unusual gift back at Shelton's chair, Aguilera blew him a few of her signature air kisses before settling back into her seat.
Not that Aguilera didn't get her share of gifts and well wishes throughout the night as well.
Earlier in the evening, a group of earnest fans sang Aguilera "Happy Birthday," and show producer Mark Burnett made an appearance to present her with a cellophane-wrapped gift.
Even music legend Smokey Robinson, who took the stage for a duet with finalist Nicholas David, took a moment to blow Aguilera a few kisses and mouth "Happy Birthday" as well.
It was the perfect way for Aguilera to close out her time on the show - she and Green will be going on hiatus for the coming season, with Shakira and Usher stepping in to fill their mentor seats.
"Thank you #Fighters for the many sweet birthday messages today! Let There Be Love to you all! XoXtina," she tweeted to fans Tuesday.

[NEWS] CHRISTINA AGUILERA TURNS 32: HERE ARE 5 REASONS WE LOVE HER
Not only is tonight the The Voice Season 3 live finale, but it’s also our girl Christina Aguilera’s birthday! The pop diva, sometimes referred to as Legendtina Goduilera, has much to celebrate in the coming year, but we’d like to take this time to celebrate her.
After years of telling us what a girl wants and creating a loyal following of fighters, Xtina has become an inspiration to us all.
Here’s why:
After years of telling us what a girl wants and creating a loyal following of fighters, Xtina has become an inspiration to us all.
Here’s why:
5. She doesn’t mind lending her talent in times of tragedy. When Hurricane Sandy ravaged the East Coast, Christina (born in Staten Island) flew cross-country to perform in a benefit concert which raised millions of dollars for the relief effort. And after the tragedy in Connecticut, Christina and the rest of the Voice cast sang in tribute to the fallen victims.
4. She’s still got it. Girl, we hear you! After more than 10 years in the biz, our girl still has incredibly impressive pipes. And though her new album, Lotus, wasn’t exactly a chart topper, we recognize talent when we hear it — kind of like a coach in the blind auditions.
3. She’s a class act. Xtina’s received plenty of hate from The Wanted to enraged Bieber fans, but she rarely responds or gets involved. Sure, she and Adam Levine had a squabble last season over contestant Tony Lucca, but the coaches remain close friends and have smoothed over all differences. In the words of Mary J. Blige, “No more drama in my life.”
2. Her two favorite accessories are wigs and fans. Half the reason we tune in to The Voice each week is to see what crazy look Xtina is rocking. She is slightly predictable in that there’s a 90 percent chance that ensemble includes a brightly-colored wig and an over-the-top fan. Homegirl even fans herself while performing with an afro and sky-high heels. Respect.
1. She could care less about other people’s opinions. After years of criticism for her weight and eccentric attire, Christina has proven to her fans that she really is beautiful, no matter what they say. In a world of size 0s and eating disorders, Xtina works her fuller figure at every possible opportunity. Work it, Lady Marmalade!Source: Wetpaint

Editor's Note:
I usually don't like to post covers of Christina's songs cause people usually don't do very well but a fellow fighter (@Abigalih) sent this to me viatweet and I instantly fell in love with her voice and her cover.
What do you guys think? Let us know in the comments below.

[AUDIO] 'LET THERE BE LOVE' - JOHNNY LABS EXTENDED MIX
Editor's Note:
Hey guys, since news has been slow lately. I decided to look for remixes of songs off "Lotus" and as I was doing that I came across this remix of "Let There Be Love". If you guys come across any worth posting send me an email, message on Facebook, tweet/DM me on Twitter, or if you have my number shoot me a text.
What do you guys think of the Remix? I particularly love it. I've been listening to it on repeat since our paths crossed.
It's similar to the "Your Body (Country Club Martini Crew Remix)" don't you think?
Love and Lotus.

[NEWS] ADELE, KATY PERRY, CHRISTINA AGUILERA & MORE COMPETING FOR OSCAR NOMINATION
Adele, Katy, Christina Aguilera and Florence and the Machine are just some artists who are eligible to receive an Oscar nomination ahead of next year's ceremony.
'Rolling In The Deep' hitmaker Adele sung the soundtrack for the latest James Bond movie 'Skyfall', which was co-written by Adele and Paul Epworth and has been described as one of the best 007 themes in the franchise's 50-year history.
The Academy Motion Pictures will now be whittling down a list of 75 candidates to just five songs from films which have been released this year, and in addition to Adele, Katy Perry is also believed to be a song contender.
Katy's single 'Wide Awake' is reportedly being considered after it featured in the singer's autobiographical movie, 'Part of Me,' which followed the hitmaker as she embarked on her world tour last year.
Florence and The Machine are also in with a chance after the band's song 'Breath Of Life,' featured in blockbuster movie, 'Snow White and the Huntsman,' which starred Kristen Stewart.
Others in the running include Bon Jovi's Not Running Anymore,' Rick Ross' 100 Black Coffins', Arcade Fire's 'Abraham's Daughter' which can be heard in 'The Hunger Games' and Christina Aguilera's title track 'Casa De Mi Padre.'
However, it's Adele's 'Skyfall' which is expected to be the big contender, something which will no doubt be news to Daniel Craig's ears after he admitted to crying when he first the ballad.
"She has the voice and the tone that we wanted. I cried. From the opening bars I knew immediately, then the voice kicked in and it was exactly what I'd wanted. It just got better and better because it fitted the movie. In fact the more of the movie we made, the more it fitted," Daniel, who is the current Bond, told the Daily Star.

[NEWS] COMPLEX - THE 100 HOTTEST FEMALES SINGERS OF ALL TIME
18. Christina Aguilera
Band Or Solo Artist: Solo
Genre: Pop, R&B
Greatest Hit: "Genie in a Bottle" (1999)
Christina Aguilera is one of the most vocally talented artists on our list; her range is phenomenal and while her start in pop music never gave her the opportunity to showcase that, her future works did. Nevertheless, her debut track "Genie In A Bottle" was so subliminally sexy that it launched the young, blonde teen into stardom.
Aguilera now sits as a judge on The Voice, and has been releasing music on and off for the past few years, including her newest album Lotus.

[STYLE] GET THE LOOK - VOICE SEMI-FINALS RESULT SHOW LAST NIGHT
Tonight was about color AND graphics and we just wanted to have fun with a playful yet bold statement look.
Makeup artist Kristofer Buckle:
With only 25 minutes for hair and makeup it was about getting it done quick! I used a liquid liner to paint on a giant cat eye with no blended edges (which can take time). I used a lower lash on the lower outer corner & whirl lip liner with a mix of light beige lipsticks for her soft mouth.
Follow Kristofer on twitter @kristoferbuckle
Stylist Simone Harouche:
For tonight's get the look, Christina wanted to wear graphically striking prints. She felt it would really pop off the red chair. She wore Alphabet crop top by lazy oaf, over a black Silk camisole by The Row, Love Beatrice Polka Dot Tights and Christian Louboutin Suede pink platforms. all Jewelry from Roseark, West Hollywood.
Follow Simone on twitter @simoneharouche
Hair stylist Craig Gangi:
Tonight on The Voice, Christina's hair was inspired by Japanese Pop art. I gave her a pop of color by adding flamingo pink streaks to her bangs and ends of her hair. I used Brazilian blowout texturizing cream to add shine and texture. Then I added a little wave with a 1 inch iron.

[STYLE] GET THE LOOK - VOICE SHOW LAST NIGHT
Tonight's look was fun and graphic and a tad retro. We played a lot with texture and I really loved the outcome.
Makeup artist Kristofer Buckle:
Tonight's look was a nod to clockwork orange. Long spiky lashes along with a black carved crease and liquid liner made for a great backdrop for Xtina's signature red lips.

Hair stylist Craig Gangi:
We wanted to off set Christina's graphic dress with sexy undone natural waves, which went well with her black bowler hat. Christina already has naturally sexy waves. I used Oribe Après Beach Wave and Shine Spray and then curled various sections to enhance her natural texture.

Stylist Simone Harouche:
For tonight's look, Christina wore a graphic Stella and Jamie black and white dress, Guisseppe Zanotti high heels, a bowler hat by NYC Hat Company and Jewels by Loree Rodkin.

[NEWS] CHRISTINA AGUILERA TALKS GIVING HILLARY CLINTON AN EYEFUL OF CLEAVAGE
Xtina on E L L E N. Full Interview LQ. from XtinaSquad on Vimeo.
Ellen DeGeneres couldn't help but ask Christina Aguilera about that photo of her and Hillary Clinton.
"That looks like it was Photoshopped, but it's not. That was a real moment," the Voice judge said in an interview airing tomorrow on Ellen, referring to the shot of the Secretary of State seemingly appraising Aguilera's decolletage at a leadership-awards ceremony in October.
"Could you feel her gazing down on your...breastesses?" quipped Ellen.
"She's such like, you know, a force in a room," gushed Aguilera. "She's got that star charisma and everything about her. I couldn't take me eyes off her either—so, it was mutual."
"Is that bad?" the singer wondered. "I don't know maybe I shouldn't say that. I'm so inappropriate."
Speaking of pushing the envelope, Aguilera also talked about her new album, Lotus, the cover of which she notably posed nude for.
"I like to be free," she said. "Sometimes, the less clothing the better. I'm just comfortable in my skin and my body.
"Had I had this beautiful sweater...I would have worn that on the cover of Lotus," she added, motioning to the holly-jolly Christmas sweater Ellen gave her.
Oh, and according to Aguilera, she waves those signature fans around on The Voice for a reason.
"It's our third season in and us as coaches have hit our stride," Aguilera, who has no team members left in the competition this season, explained why she seemed more relaxed these days. "We get what it's all about. We're invested in our teams and I'm sitting next to [Blake Shelton] the whole time, so how can I not laugh?
"Between him and [Cee Lo Green], with his gas over there. Then there's [Adam Levine] over there, very competitive."
"That's why I have the fan, you know," Aguilera cracked.

[STYLE] GET THE LOOK - VOICE RESULT SHOW LAST NIGHT
I wanted to bring the color back tonight and what a better way than with fun pink hair similar to the color I used in my "Your Body" video. This is an example of having fun and not taking glam too seriously.
Makeup artist Kristofer Buckle:
Xtinas look last night was a dramatic black smokey eye with a pewter metallic lid and a pale lip. I used a very soft brush to blend out the black eye shadow, keeping it concentrated in the crease of the eye. I applied a shiny loose shadow dust to the lid and pale peachy lip color i made with a concealer mixed with a drop of bright lipstick.

Hair stylist David Babaii:
Sexy in pink is the look for tonight and who better then Christina to make this such a sizzling look. IT&LY HAIRFASHION'S color experts helped me create this amazing pastel pink. To keep your color from fading use IT&LY'S Advanced Color Protection Shampoo and Condition along with Pure Water Drops for a glistening shine. To finish spritz with IT&LY'S Advanced Color Protection Hair Spray for color protection style hold. Pretty in pink never looked sexier!

Stylist Simone Harouche:
For Tonight's episode of the voice, Christina's bright pink wig was the main attraction... We wanted a look that was fun and quirky, but didn't scream and complete with her hair. Christina wore, Earnest Sewn Jeans, a custom made black tank top, custom made studded vest, all Jewels by Jacquie Aiche and Christian Louboutin heels.
Hope you like tonight's look!
